The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies to your community.
SASSA will be rendering expert services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency said it can be alarmed with regards to the higher range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the large range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is often a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no completely functional office committed to service the area on a daily basis. The provider issue developed for intervention activities a superior influx of likely beneficiaries, that makes it tricky for that office to attend to all people who stop by a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much here more assets to empower the servicing of all prospects and improve entry to Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
